Tennessee Walking Gelding for Sale in Bowling Green, KY

Blue America, affectionately known as America, is a registered 5-year-old Tennessee Walking horse gelding, standing at 16. 0 HH and parks out at 15.2HH. America is extremely trustworthy, ready to take on adventurous trails with experienced riders or take it real slow with first-timers and novice riders. The ‘Blue Roan Babysitter’ is a great title! If you’re looking for a personable and gentle gelding, look no further. America is very easygoing and soft in the mouth. He can be ridden bridleless, halterless, double, and/or bareback. Our training program, with decades of professional experience, is designed to prepare our horses for any and every situation they encounter. We take huge pride in what horses get our ‘Golden Standard’ seal of approval. Safety for both horses and riders is always our top concern, and with America’s super calm disposition, this is one gelding that will ease your nerves. America can be ridden by a wide range of riders, young to old, novice to experienced, all with an incredible sense of awareness of who’s on his back. Broke to traffic, large farm equipment, whips, gunfire, dogs, and even the occasional windy man! He can lope as well. America can lay down; if need be, you may mount while he’s down. He will side pass to the mounting block, all with the snap of your finger. This gentle gelding is very easy to catch in a stall or pasture. If out to pasture, he gets along well with others. Loading and unloading in a trailer is a breeze, whether forward, backward, alone or with other horses. Our training facility is located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, about an hour north of Nashville, Tennessee. Serious inquiries are always welcome, and encouraged to visit IN-PERSON! We want the RIGHT horse to fit your needs and dreams just as much as you do. Don’t hesitate to reach out with additional questions or requests for specific footage. When one of our horses leaves the farm, we strive to maintain a relationship with the new owners for many years to come! You become part of our horse family.

About Bowling Green, KY

The first Europeans known to have reached the area carved their names on beech trees near the river around 1775. By 1778, settlers established McFadden's Station on the north bank of the Barren River. Present-day Bowling Green developed from homesteads erected by Robert and George Moore and General Elijah Covington, the namesake of the town near Cincinnati. [ citation needed ] The Moore brothers arrived from Virginia circa 1794. In 1798, two years after Warren County had been formed, Robert Moore donated 2 acres (8,100 m 2) of land to county trustees for the purpose of constructing public buildings.
