Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Carbondale, IL

9 yr old sweet (suspect abuse) grade sorrel mare green broke with several wet blanket rides in Shawnee Forest. Good hooves (hasnt needed shod) Willingly crosses everything (water, logs) Loads and ties but get nervous mainly with these 2 things. (Daughter wanted to rescue and train but realizes limited time with work and school) Has good speed .. good barrel and poles prospect Was abandoned for several yrs in a pasture. Gets along very well with other horses (no aggression) BEAUTIFUL confirmation .. unbelievably smooth gaites. Intermediate to experienced rider ONLY Will not sell to an inexperience individual or child This hose has come along way with trust but still learning to trust humans and will need patience and kindness and just more miles.

About Carbondale, IL

In August 1853, Daniel Harmon Brush, John Asgill Conner, and Dr. William Richart bought a 360-acre (1.5 km 2) parcel of land between two proposed railroad station sites ( Makanda and De Soto) and two county seats ( Murphysboro and Marion). Brush named Carbondale for the large deposit of coal in the area. [ citation needed ] The first train through Carbondale arrived on Independence Day 1854, traveling north on the main line from Cairo, Illinois. By the time of the American Civil War, Carbondale had developed as a regional center for transportation and business, surrounded by agricultural development.
