Phoenix is a 9 year old bay roan gelding, he stands 15.1 hands tall. He is 100% sound in every way, he is in your pocket and very friendly, walk up and catch him anywhere! Phoenix was used on a big kids camp/dude ranch, he has been trail rode all over and will go anywhere you ask him without hesitation. He has done all sorts of obstacles in the arena, he has been rode by all ages of kids and been rode by a lot of beginners, he is super soft and easy to ride. He is not spooky at all, has carried flags, goes across tarps, just point him and go. Phoenix has also been used on the ranch, he’s has roped and doctored outside. About Rusk, TX
The town was established by an act of the Texas legislature on April 11, 1846. It was named after Thomas Jefferson Rusk, signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence. By 1850, Rusk reportedly had 355 residents. A post office was authorized on March 8, 1847. The city of Rusk is no longer dry; a beer and wine local option election passed on May 9, 2009.
