She was born and raised on our farm in Freeburg, Illinois, and she has done everything for us. Everyone in the family rides her. She has been trained using the natural horsemanship/Clinton Anderson method. Hot chick comes from some of the best bloodlines in the Missouri Foxtrotter horse breed, as you can tell from her papers. She has always done everything we asked her to do willingly. She has a sweet disposition and a gentle eye and can easily get along with other people and horses. Feel free to call us with any questions or concerns. We offer transportation for all our customers who buy our horses in the continental US. Thank you for your consideration of this beautiful chestnut mare. PEDIGREE: “Hot Chick” has a Pedigree that is second to none. Her sire is Spitfire’s Bojangles, a direct son of the legendary Southern Sunrise. Bojangles is one of the few, if not the only, stallions that both parents are in the Hall of Fame. Those who know registered Missouri Foxtrotters know that if you have Southern Sunrise on your papers, you have a very well-rounded gentle, talented horse. TEMPERAMENT: “Hot Chick” has one of the sweetest dispositions you will ever find on a horse. She is easy to handle, catch, loads and gets along well with other horses in the pasture. She is an all-around well-natured horse. EXPERIENCE: “Hot Chick” Has done it all for us on our ranch, as you will see in the videos. She has hundreds of miles of trail experience, with every member of our family riding her. She was born and raised on our farm in Freeburg, Illinois. We still have her sire, spitfires Bojangles, in our breeding program. He is one of our top-producing stallions. We have used hot chick for roping cattle, sorting cattle, and parades; she is traffic-safe, trails, and pulls the buggy. It’s hard to believe, but the first day we hooked her up to the buggy, we made videos, and she absolutely loved it. Her training has all been through the natural horsemanship/Clinton Anderson Method. Three years ago. Hot chick raised a foal for us; she’s a good mama. CONFORMATION: “Hot Chick” confirmation is excellent, as shown in the pictures. Her sire spitfires Bojangles was a world grand champion model horse. Her dam was also well put together. Hot chick could compete at any level in model competition. She’s a beautiful Chestnut with a small star on her forehead, stand app 15. 1 hands tall and weighs app 1000lbs. Most importantly, she has that soft, gentle eye. GAITS: As you can see in the video Hot Chick has a true natural fox trot, running walk, flat foot walk, and Canter. She neck reins, side passes, and backs up and is a true pleasure to ride.

About Freeburg, IL

Freeburg lies in the fertile and rolling southern Illinois plains between the Kaskaskia and Mississippi Rivers. It was platted in 1836 as the town of Urbana by immigrants to this area from Virginia around 1800. The first European settlers of Freeburg were of English and Irish ancestry. There were five migratory Indian tribes that crisscrossed each other in Illinois; the Peorias, Cahokias, Kaskaskias, Tamaroas, and Michiganics. It is said that Turkey Hill north of town was a popular Indian campground that also attracted many early settlers because of the view it provided of the surrounding countryside.
