Standard Jack/Jesus Donkey

Willie is his name. Asking $200obo 1 brown standard jack. (also known as jesus donkeys or aka a walking tx cattle guard Please allow me to give u a quick update. So the blue/silverish male is no longer here. He now lives about 4 miles down the road. I still hv the brown male. He is still uncut. Now as far as age let me see…well about 21/2-3 years ago both donkeys showed up one nite. The dogs were barking n I looked outside n under a big mesquite I hv out front were the both of them laying down trying to sleep. I asked everyone around here. Reported them to the sheriff office in case anyone was looking they could claim them n I put out flyers. Never heard anything back so they stayed. Now when they arrived both looked to b the same age. They looked young, n both had their testicles dropped down n intact. So I would say somewhere between 5 & 71/2 maybe 8 at most. Personally I think he’s right around 6 yrs old. When they arrived it seems they been out for awhile. Seemed distrusting n very nervous or skiddish. Didn’t take to halter n lead road at 1st. Then after they realized we weren’t there to harm them n after some brushing here n there they came around n everything was Tht much easier. After Tht it seemed they probably had been worked w before but I couldn’t tell u how much or what. He does lead n I just trailered him the other day. Never tried to throw a saddle on him or put a bit in his mouth or to have him pull. I don’t see y he can’t or wouldn’t. Around new people he is a little weary at 1st. He doesn’t like dogs to get to close to him. If they do he will take a little run toward them swinging his head to scare them off is all. Not sure about goats. Seen him w cats. No problem w cattle He hasn’t had a coggins test Tht I know of. TV him an wormer about 6 months ago. His ear looks tough but Tht came from rough housing w his buddy before he left. No problems w his hooves or legs. Seems to b a sound animal. He is a clever fella if I don’t say so myself. He’s a problem solver. Over all he’s a good animal. Once he knows u he just a really kind n caring donkey. My fence line is outdated to say nicely. Needs replacing, but that not going to happen anytime this year. I know he loves to hv some space. Doesn’t need or like being stalked up around the clock. Apples will do if he’s starving. Will not tolerate or even look at sour apples or wheat bread n he loves sweets even tho they r bad for him. N now Tht his buddy is gone I can see he’s just not happy there by himself. When I 1st posted the ad we were gonna sell them together but then changed her mind until recently. She recently had a health issue come up n her daughter from Oklahoma just moved down for good. She’s 19 n ready to do everything. All things considered we figured to go ahead n find these guys a home to concentrate on the health thing n getting her daughter enrolled in some kinda college n getting her into a vehicle.
