Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Whitley City, KY

ONLINE AUCTION Place your bid at PlatinumEquineAuction dot com Auction starts October 2nd and ends October 16th $3500 Starting bid Meet “Illusions of Lazy” aka Waco - sired by Lazy Loper. I am proud to offer this gorgeous gelding. Waco is a 6 year old AQHA & NSBA registered gelding standing 16.1 hands tall. Waco has all the chrome you want with a beautiful mane and tail, dun stripe, and a big white blaze to boot. Not only does he have the looks, he has personality, brains, and bloodline to excel in any area. Waco is sired by the very famous “Lazy Loper”! Lazy Loper boasts the titles of Top 5 AQHA leading sire, NSBA Top 5 Leading Money Earning Sire, Sire of over 75 World Champions, and Multiple Honor Roll Sire. Waco’s dam, “A Certain Illusion”, is equally impressive! A Certain Illusion has over $50,000 in earnings, and boats the titles of AQHA Select World Championship Western Pleasure, AQHA Select World Champion Performance Halter Mares, and had produced many AQHA & NSBA champions. I have owned Waco for almost 4 years, and I have used him primarily for trail riding & local shows. Waco is an •amazing• trail horse. I have ridden him all over eastern Kentucky and Tennessee on tough trails, and he will go through absolutely anything! He will cross ditches, logs, deep creeks, and go up and down steep slopes with ease. Waco will happily ride in the front, middle, or back of the group, and I have used him to pony young horses along the trails. He is not buddy sour and he has been exposed to all sorts of wildlife and pets. Waco has great ground manners, he will load/back off the trailer, and he stands for mounting/dismounting. You can let Waco sit for weeks and then hop on and ride. Waco is the same horse every day, no nonsense! He has never offered to kick, buck, bite, or rear. He is very soft and responsive to his rider. Waco will ride bridle-less (see video), neck rein & move off of leg pressure, and lope beautiful, balanced circles. Being western pleasure bred, Waco has a very smooth way of traveling. He has an amazing slow jog & lope that you can easily sit and ride all day. If asked, he can also stretch out and cover some ground. Waco has been ridden by all ages & levels of riders. He is my “go to” horse for new riders. Waco gets along easily with other horses. He is at the bottom of the pecking order, and you can walk up and catch him anywhere in the field. Waco has shown successfully at small, local shows in western pleasure, ranch riding, halter, and competitive trail classes- he has won many ribbons! Waco hauls to shows and settles into new environments with ease. He is NOT a spooky or nervous horse in the slightest. He has been ridden around cattle, had ropes thrown off of him, and he will drag objects behind him. He is a gentle, pleasant horse with a huge personality- he an absolute ham and loves to be the center of attention. Waco is up to date on coggins, deworming, vaccines, dental work, and has a signed AQHA transfer in hand. He is sound, healthy, and shod all the way around.
