Registered Arabian Gelding

We like to call him Dorito, he’s very intelligent and very friendly and has an amazing brain for his age. We do not have his paperwork, only a copy. His owner turned him over to us as she has been having ongoing medical issues and could not afford to keep him, and she has lost contact with us and are uncertain of her wellbeing. We took him on as an unbroken 4-year-old, decided to have him broke, started enough to be ridden, and started onto whatever discipline you choose. He was easy to start and never offered to buck or rear up. He is very confident and eager to please. Someone is getting one heck of a horse. Below are notes from his trainer: Standing at 14.3 hh, born in May of 2018, LL Dieoro is an outstanding and mild-mannered registered Arabian gelding. He is By Om El Sinon (a Supreme Gold Champion Stallion in 2019 at the Arabians Breeders World Cup) and out of LL Dessert Song. I have worked with many Arabians throughout the years, and this guy has to have the best head on him that I’ve ever seen in one. He is willing to please and lacks the “hot” character traits that Arabs are known for. Dieoro has been started under saddle for 60 days and has done nothing but impress me. Has been ridden under an endurance, English, and western saddle. W/T/C and transitions are very smooth, including his stopping and backing. We have trail ridden alone and, in a group, do not mind leading or being behind the pack. Has been through water, bridges, and ditches without hesitation. He also accompanied us to a show for the experience; while he did not actively show, he did ride through the warm ring. Tarps, yoga balls, bells, tires, kiddy pools, etc. do not bother him. The biggest perk about him is that with a snap of your fingers, he will square up to you from on the ground, mounting block, or stump, to make mounting easy. I have also shot a bow off of him several times, and has been terrific about it. I have popped him over a few cross rails, and he is very willing to do so. He stands great for the farrier, vet, and to be tacked and bathed. Self-loading and rides quietly in the trailer! Been around goats, dogs, cats, and farm equipment and doesn’t seem to care much about them. Also is comfortable with street traffic! He is an easy keeper, being fed only forage and 1/4 scoop of grain. This guy is going to make somebody a fantastic horse! I have even led kids around and let them walk around on him alone. I’ve taken him to the point that anyone can comfortably and safely ride him but requires an intermediate-advanced rider to finish him out in the direction they’d like. From my experience with him, I could see him being an excellent trail, eventing, endurance, or even maybe a barrel horse.
