BF Heartsong’s Arrow is a 6-year-old, Registered Rocky Mountain Gelding that is one in a million. He has the most unique color, beautiful, strong confirmation, and the sweetest puppy dog temperament. This guy will make someone the ultimate heart horse. Arrow has had hours and hours of saddle time perfecting obstacles, trail riding, sorting cattle, ponying other horses, and giving rides to kids. He has a real gift. You can be riding him and really covering ground most of the day with purpose, but when a child climbs aboard, his whole-body changes, and he completely takes care of them. Arrow opens gates, sits patiently while you fix fences and collect cattle, he crosses bridges and rivers with no issues with vehicles and ATVs. He climbs up and down all terrain. He is so surefooted and is exceptional at downhill maneuvers. Arrow knows how to side pass and turn on the hind and forehand. He has a soft backup. Arrow can bow and lay down. He is used to whips, tarps, and flags. He loads quietly into a trailer and waits patiently. He also backs out very carefully. He is not bothered by wildlife or farm animals. He has been exposed to donkeys. Bison, cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, dogs, and cats. Arrow is easy to catch and handle. He wants to be with people. He drops his head for the halter and bridle. He stands for grooming and saddling without being tied. Arrow will ride out alone with no problem, and he is wonderful on a group ride as well in any position. He is fine in a stall or in a pasture with a herd. His unique “chocolate “or silver dapple coat is always changing. He looks different as the seasons change. Darker in the winter, shedding out to a light brown with white hairs in the spring, in the direct sun, his summer coat turns GOLD and has a metallic sheen. The dapples appear in late summer, and the winter dark coat appears by fall. His white mane and tail are also striking.
