Arabian Gelding for Sale in Bluffdale, UT

15-year-old, 15.3hh, purebred, Arabian horse with papers. He is registered under the name Sr Asanti, sired by Magnum Psyche, grandsired by Padrons Psyche. He has won several regional and national western pleasure competitions but has been ridden hunter, english, and dressage for years since. Has been a lesson horse for one of the most prominent barns in Utah, and is currently owned by our family. He is an incredible riding horse. Has all transitions down, including walk-canter. He used to jump but had some ankle problems some years ago. He hasn't jumped since, although he is really enthusiastic about trying when there are jumps set up in the arena. Not sure if he still could. Has not had many issues with that ankle in two years with his annual injections. He currently lives in a pasture with two other horses. Is definitely the pack leader but is not aggressive or mean. Gets along well with other horses and, of course, all people. Is very friendly and consistent and is a great family horse. He is a little hot, as he is still an Arabian, but as long as he is ridden consistently by just a few people he settles right in. Would recommend for casual riding or showing. He hates trails. He is a great and solid horse and we are sad to see him go. Finances just don't allow us to keep him. Being sold at no fault of his own. Here are some of the competitions and placements he has gotten: Arabian Western Pleasure AART Select Championship - 1st Region 8 Championship Show - 1st Region 4 Arabian Western Pleasure Futurity - 1st Arabian Western Pleasure JRT 14-17 Championship - 3rd Only selling to a family or single rider. This boy needs a solid family foundation in his life. Only serious inquiries. 5,000 OBO

About Bluffdale, UT

Bluffdale, named for its geography of bluffs and dales, was first settled in 1848–1849 when the area was originally part of West Jordan. On July 29, 1858, Orrin Porter Rockwell paid five- hundred dollars to Evan M. Green for sixteen acres of land near to the Crystal Hot Lakes (adjacent to the present Utah State Prison). This land included Hot Springs Hotel and Brewery with dining facilities, stable, brewery, and pony express station. As the community expanded, the Bluffdale area became part of South Jordan, then Riverton.
