Friesian/Percheron Filly

Mazie is a 2-yr-old Friesian Percheron (1/4 Friesian, ¾ Percheron) bred by Charleswood Percherons in Pilot Mound, MB. She stands over 17hh, is sound, and utd on farrier, deworming and vaccinations. She stands tied, stands for the farrier, and trailers well. She has a calm and quiet demeaner and is the first one to greet you in the pasture. With that, she also comes when called. Mazie has a friendly personality and is always looking to please. Mazie has a solid foundation on the ground and her ground manners are up to par. She leads, lunges, disengages front and hindquarters, gives to halter pressures and backs up with subtle cues. Additionally, she performs most exercises on the ground at liberty (videos available upon request). Mazie has been saddled multiple times and hasn’t offered to buck. She has also been ridden bareback twice and did extremely well. Mazie can smile, kiss, hug, and bow on command. Already she is showing great promise and is the kind of horse you leave for winter and pull out of the pasture in spring like she never had a day off. Mazie will make a great driving, all around, performance, riding horse and child's mount for someone who wants a willing partner; unfortunately, I don’t have the time she deserves.
