Friesian Gelding for Sale in Perris, CA
Xanthian is a 3 1/2 year old Friesian/Quarter Horse, a little over 15hh. Sweetest, most loving, in your pocket kind of Horse you'll ever meet. Flexible Saddle, athletic and eager to please. Saddle Broke, Liberty trained (beg/intermediate), ground ties with a close eye, easiest Horse I've ever met to saddle and bridle. He literally puts his face into the halter or bridle for you. I've ridden him in a dressage and western saddle/bridle. I've ridden him on the trails across the street from my house, still needs some work to be able to ridden down the street with street bikes and sand rails. Has a beautiful comfortable trot. Has correct natural lead in canter, still learning to maintain his beautiful tempo with rider but so eager to get it right. Has beginnings of half pass and side pass on ground. Mostly translates under saddle well. I have brought him around cows recently and shows obvious cow sense and enjoys pushing them around. I've done longlining with him and have pulled a giant gorilla cart next to him with no issues. He's a great prospect for driving, gymkhana, dressage, western dressage...really any direction you want to take him in.. Trailers, Bathes and clips with no problems.

About Perris, CA
The Perris Valley was actively settled in the 1880s, a boom period for Southern California. Prior to 1880, the land was used for pastures. The coming of the California Southern Railroad led to the founding of the city around the new depot. The California Southern was built through the future town site in 1882 to open a rail connection between the present day cities of Barstow and San Diego. Due to a land title dispute at Pinacate, most of its citizens moved two miles north on the railroad and established Perris in 1885.
