Handsome Marchador Colt

Flying Oaks Pedro has recently joined our ranch from Flying Oaks Ranch in Oklahoma, where he had been living a healthy rugged life on the open range of Oklahoma with the other stallions. At his new Canadian home, he will be started under saddle next year and have lots of groundwork until then. We expose the youngsters to as many situations as available, or that we can find as a learning opportunity. He is currently halter broke and still getting used to being handled. He entered Canada June 2021. Pedro has powerful and very correct conformation, huge stride, wild-formed hooves, and an impressive mane and tail. He will be a stunner after he outgrows his awkward teenage stage. Here is a chance to own an unspoiled, very well-bred, smooth-riding baroque youngster and bring him along your way. His tendency for gait is toward the Picada, but he has moved along nicely in the field in Batida also. Pedro could be left as a stallion for breeding to Marchador mares or other breeds. Marchadors add stamina, smoothness and bone when crossed with QH types and when crossed with Arabian, a smooth-riding endurance athlete with increased focus. Pedro's training is ongoing and his price will change to reflect new levels of education.
