15.2 hand 5 year old Dark bay OTTB for sale, “Muskoka Suzie” barn name suzie q. No injuries or past complications. Canadian bred, RRP eligible with great lines, granddaughter to Gulch. I have owned this mare for about 4 months, due to the weather she’s had about 20-25 rides on her. Loads, clips, bathes, ties, and trailers with ease. When she first stepped foot into my barn she was terrified of EVERYTHING. She is now gaining confidence with loud nosies/sudden movements, still not 100% bomb proof but is very brave and willing to learn. I have trail ridden her with another horse and not a thing bothered her. VERY QUICK learner, spent most of the time undersaddle learning to bend and give with the bit. Working on basic riding skills like w/t/c. After 5 minutes in draw reins she understood how to drop head with ease, has a very nice woah. Has never offered a buck/near/kick/bite but however is mareish and will pin ears back when eating and such. Would excel any which way you would like to take her. Not suitable for a beginner due to still needing to be finished. Selling due to moving out of state for college. Asking 5k OBO, message for more info
About Painesville, OH
Painesville was settled by Americans shortly after the Revolutionary War. It was still considered part of the Connecticut Western Reserve. General Edward Paine (1746–1841), who had served as a captain in the Connecticut militia during the war, and John Walworth arrived in 1800 with a party of sixty-six settlers, among the first in the Western Reserve. General Paine later represented the region in the territorial legislature of the Northwest Territory. In 1800 the Western Reserve became Trumbull County and at the first Court of Quarter Sessions, the county was divided into eight townships.
