Chrome is a beautiful 5 year old gelding. He stands at an easy 14.2 HH. He is as handy as a Swiss Army knife. We absolutely love him. He has loads of personality and is always happy to meet you at the gate. He was started by one of the top reigning programs in the country. He has his NRHA license, and also has his NRBC certificate. We have been roping heads and heels on him, and just recently started jackpot team roping on him. A 15 year old boy showed him in 4H this year and he did awesome. Chrome is ready to show in the working cow horse. You will be hard pressed to find a horse who is as much fun to ride as Chrome. He has all the feel and fancy buttons in the world. He can side pass, slide stop, and spin on a dime. We have also used him all over the ranch, and up in the high country packing, leading the pack string, and hunting. He is good to tie, tack and trailer, he also has great foot and bone under him. Every where we take Chrome he gets noticed. His personality shines through as much as his good looks! He has the perfect confirmation, the agility to excel in any direction and the personality to always be your favorite guy! For more info call Wade (801)391-7940. About Roosevelt, UT

In 1905, by an act of Congress, the unallotted land of the Ute Indian Reservation was opened to homesteading. Several thousand hopeful 20th-century pioneers congregated in Provo and Grand Junction with the hope of successfully drawing lots for a homestead in a fertile region of the soon-to-be-opened lands. Throughout the fall and winter of 1905-06, the settlers came to the Uinta Basin. The town of Roosevelt was founded in early 1906 when Ed Harmston turned his homestead claim into a townsite and laid out plots. His wife named the prospective town in honor of the president of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt.
