Pinto Mare for Sale in Kalama, WA
Misty is a 15 yr old pinto mare. 3/4 Quarter horse, 1/4 Arabian. She is green broke. Needs advanced rider. Should have 30 days under saddle to complete her basic training. Has had a lot of ground work, has been ridden bareback. She will accept a saddle and bridle. She has a curious personality and would be the one to follow you into the house if you let her. A little time in the saddle will take her a long way. Good with farrier, can brush and bathe. She has spent her life with other horses and needs to maintain a lifestyle that allows her a horse friend in order to thrive.
Owner has been furloughed due to Covid-19 and needs to sell her. It is important for the owner to know the conditions of her new home and ideally would like to be able to stop by and see her once or twice after she is sold. Owners reserves the right for first buy back should the new owner decide to sell her. A good home for her is very important to her current owner. Not registered. $2000

                    About Kalama, WA
Kalama was first settled by Native Americans, particularly members of the Cowlitz Indian Tribes. The first white settler recorded was in 1853. That first settler was Ezra Meeker and his family. Only one year later, Meeker moved to north Puyallup, Washington, but he sold his Donation Land Claim to a Mr. Davenport, who, with a few others, permanently settled in the Kalama area.
