Little Package That Sparkles When He Works

Jasper is a plain little package that sparkles when he works! I have been working with him since he was a yearling - he has an excellent work ethic. He loves to be ridden and applies himself to everything that he is asked. Never says no. He is currently schooling second level dressage and has been introduced to jumping. He has done 3 years of dressage training and 1 year of jumping. Jumping included an introduction to cross country jumps as well as jumping in a ring (indoor and outdoor). He hacks out alone and in groups well. On the ground, he is a playful character. He likes to be busy and sometimes can be a little pushy, never mean, he just wants to play. This changes when you get on and he becomes all business. In his stall he is quiet, he can bang on the door near feeding times and sometimes likes throw his feed bucket over the door or out the window when he is finished! We have not been in show atmosphere yet but he has gone schooling in different locations and he is never phased by the new environment. He trailers well, walks on and off like a pro. Clips well (I have done a full body clip every year with no issues). He is up to date with his vaccinations and teeth (can get records). He currently does not have shoes, his feet are very strong and I have no issues with them. I have shoed him in the past for the winter months when we were doing winter trails. He would be best suited to an intermediate rider or advanced who is looking for a sound reliable horse to take them up the levels. I think he would excel in an eventing or dressage environment. Jasper is a dark bay but slowly turning grey. His father is a Canadian (dark bay) and his mother a Draft mix - Percheron with something to refine her - I am not sure what (dapple grey). This mix gives him his great mind and sturdy build. Stands 15.3 hands heigh. Currently located in Northfield, Nova Scotia (outside of Bridgewater) Reason for selling - I am moving and can not take him with me sadly.
