Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Canton, GA
rincess is a stocky built chestnut quarter horse mare who is 13 years old and 15.1 hands tall. She stands, ties, leads, and loads in trailer. Easy to catch when on pasture. She does not crib, respects fencing, and has good stall manners. She is easy to handle. She is great for the farrier and does not require shoes. She is currently barefoot. She has no past injuries or any lameness issues; 100% sound. She is broke to ride and has been ridden both english and western. She is good for saddling, bridling, and mounting. She rides in a twisted snaffle bit and she does neck rein. We would recommend an intermediate rider for Princess. She does have a motor! This gal can run. Princess is a great trail mount. She has been exposed to water, bridges, traffic, dogs with no issues. She is ready for whatever direction you want to take her in! Her owner is asking $800. Come try her out! Asking $800

About Canton, GA
Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the site where Canton would be founded lay in the heart of the Cherokee Nation. During the first 100 years of Georgia's history, Northwest Georgia was generally considered "Indian Country" and was bypassed by settlers going West. Georgia had made a treaty with the federal government in 1802 shortly after the Revolutionary War to relinquish its Western Territory (it claimed the Pacific Ocean as its western boundary) in exchange for the removal of all Indians within its boundaries. Although other tribes had been removed, the Cherokee remained. Since this was the heartland of the Cherokee Nation, the state and nation were reluctant to disturb them.
