Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Broken Arrow, OK

Twister is a registered 12 year old quarter horse gelding. Stands around 15.1 hands. He is a 4D barrel horse and also has competed in roping events. He has been to barrel races/jackpots, rodeos, parades, and trail rides. He stands tied, loads, baths, good for farrier, ect. Great on the trails! Will cross anything and is NOT a skidish/spookish type horse. He has a very sweet personality/in your pocket type gelding. Great rodeo horse! Not for beginners as he is not a dead head. Has NEVER offered to buck, kick, bite, or run off on me. He is up to date on shots, coggins, deworming, and farrier. I had bought him in the fall of 2014 and the only reason I am selling him is because I have rode a push style barrel horse for many years and he is free runner on the pattern sadly I just cant seem to get used to him. Plus Im breeding my mare next year and need the extra funds for it. If you want to come see him just let me know. We have a really nice arena where I keep him at and also have barrels we can set up. Not in a hurry to get rid of him..will continue to ride/haul him until hes gone

About Broken Arrow, OK

The city's name comes from an old Creek community in Alabama. Members of that community were expelled from Alabama by the United States government, along the Trail of Tears in the 1830s. The Creek founded a new community in the Indian Territory, and named it after their old settlement in Alabama. The town's Creek name was Rekackv (pronounced thlee-Kawtch-kuh), meaning broken arrow. The new Creek settlement was located several miles south of present-day downtown Broken Arrow.
