Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Bolivar, PA
Posie is a 12 year old (12 in May 2015) palomino quarter horse. She is very very fast and would make a great gaming horse if the time was put in to her. She will need an experienced rider only! Posie gets along with other horses great but that can cause problems because she becomes very attached. She would do better and behave better being the only horse. Serious inquires only! About Bolivar, PA
The first settlers arrived in Bolivar about the year 1829 and settled between Tubmill Creek and the Conemaugh River. Most of the men were employed by the Pennsylvania Canal. The canal was located on the south side of the Conemaugh River. Some of the locks still may be seen west of town. Several small brickyards were started in the area, producing a red brick.
