2002 Buckskin Mustang Mare

"Spirit of the Desert" is a sweet and beautiful green broke mare. She is short and stocky. She is a very easy keeper, low maintenance horse with strong bare feet. She was rounded up by BLM at 4, then untouched for the next 6 years. She had limited handling for a couple of years before I began working with her. She has since been hauled to playdays and trotted the patterns and stands tied at the trailer well. She has been hauled to trails and handles any terrain or water just fine. She will follow a group or ride alone. She doesn't mind if the others go on ahead without her. She walks fairly briskly, can trot slowly or quickly, and lopes slowly. She is jumpy with noises, especially sounds from her rider above her. She scoots her hind end under her and moves forward when scared. She does not buck or rear.
