General is a lovely gelding with very steady fluid gaits. He is amazing
XC - banks, ditches, water anything appears no problem. He is schooling
BN / Nov and is very easy O / F and is very willing - jumping just
the right amount with not too much or not too little effort. He trail
rides very well. He is not a spooky type of horse and has a very laid
back easy going attitude. He is personable, easy to catch and very good
looking. We think he's very versatile and could be an excellent eventer,
hunter, foxhunter or pony club mount. He is ridden by Avalo Farm's working
students (natural horsemanship Students) and has been quiet and easy for

About Wagener, SC
Gunter's Crossroad The history of Wagener dates back to 1887. The early settlement was known as Pinder Town and later as Guntersville or Gunter's Crossroad, after the large number of North Carolinian settlers named Gunter. These men helped make up Company I of the 20th SC Infantry, which was part of Kershaw's Brigade during the Civil War. The town is situated on what was once farm land belonging to Elridge Gunter. He donated this property to benefit the schools of Wagener and the First Baptist Church.
