Flashy Colonel J Son, Stallion Prospect!
3 (1 - calm; 10 - spirited)
Arabian Stallion for Sale in Livingston Manor, NY
Sometimes you get really lucky and a colt gets the best parts of both parents. Major is a great example of just that. He has his dam's exotic head, sire's long shapely neck, excellent conformation and mama's big bold trot. He was as tall as foals several weeks older at birth and looks like he will mature well over 15 hh. Not only can he trot up a storm we've seen him do incredible rollbacks and sliding stops out in the field for one so young. Although pretty enough for the halter ring this colt is more than just a gorgeous ring ornament. Here's one that doesn't come around too often - a colt that can be competitive in both worlds despite the widening gap. At this point he looks to be a stallion prospect as well. Available for sale. $2500. 00. 10% discount if deposit is placed before weaning
About Livingston Manor, NY
The area claims to be the "birthplace of fly-fishing in the United States" largely because of trout fishing on the 27-mile (43 km)-long Willowemoc Creek. It flows between the village and Roscoe, New York, where it intersects the Beaver Kill. The Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum is on the north edge of the town on the Willowemoc Creek. Today fish stocks in the Catskills are managed by state wildlife agents. All of the stocked fish (1 million pounds each year) for the Catskills, as well all the reservoirs in the New York City water supply, are bred at the Catskill Fish Hatchery just northeast of Livingston Manor in DeBruce, New York.
