This beautiful pony has been shown hunter and will do a 2' course clean
and easy. My daughter who is an advanced beginner learned how to canter
on this pony and is moving up to my TB. If this pony sells by the end of
July we will throw in his tack (16" saddle, bridle, non slip girth,
non slip saddle pad, and winter blanket) .
                        About Carlisle, PA
Scots-Irish immigrants farmed the Cumberland Valley beginning in the early 1730s. The town of Carlisle, at the intersection of several Indian trails, was designated by the Pennsylvania assembly and the William Penn family in 1751 as the seat of Cumberland County (named for Cumberland County, England). American pioneer John Armstrong Sr., a surveyor for the Penn family, laid the plan for the town of Carlisle in 1751. He settled there and fathered John Armstrong Jr. in 1758.
