Paint Stallion for Sale in Emmett, ID
Toby is at the trainers, and will be there for 45 days, or until sold. He
has had extensive ground work, and is getting 30 days of riding. He has
been started with a quiet, natural approach. Every day he is growing, and
he is a monsterous size for a two year old. Toby is a great horse that
really needs someone to give him time. He would be great for showing,
english, or even hunter jumper. He is current on all shots (including
West - Nile) , wormer and trimming. I am only selling Toby because I
have a 17 month old son, work full time and am going to school full
time and have too many horses that require time that I don't have. So
unfortunately the young one has to go.

                    About Emmett, ID
Rising some 5,906 feet (1,800 m) above sea level, Squaw Butte, named by Native Americans who used this area as their winter resort, stands at the north end of the valley. The Payette River was named after Francois Payette, a fur trader from Quebec who was put in charge of old Fort Boise in 1818 and traveled through the area. Permanent settlement began in the early 1860s, after gold discoveries in the Boise Basin brought people over the established stage and pack train routes. Two of these trails joined at the Payette River north of the present river bridge in Emmett. Originally called "Emmettville," it was primarily a post office named after Emmett Cahalan, the son of Tom Cahalan, an early settler of the area.
