Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Parrish, FL
8 year old quarter horse / paint bay in color with a star, strip,
snip. Gracy is a awesome horse. I currently have her started on barrels
and poles and even jumping. She has a natural jumping ability and a
VERY NICE NATURAL HEADSET. We have done extensive amounts of trail
riding lately and she loves that. She is one of the most willing mares
you will ever ride. She will go either Western or English and even
bareback if you like. She is 110% sound and never had any lameness at
all currently barefoot. Very versatile mare. She is fit and ready to do
whatever you need. She loads, clips, ties, stands. She works off your
seat and legs unbelievably. When tacking up no need to wear a halter or
bridle she stands so good. She moves off her shoulders nice. All offers
considered. Worth much more than asked

                    About Parrish, FL
Originally, the community was founded by William Iredell Turner who owned a plantation in the area prior to the Civil War. [ citation needed ] Soon afterwards, a small community was formed around the plantation. The community was named for Crawford Parrish of Georgia along with his wife Mary Bratcher Vanzant. Shortly after he married her in 1841, Crawford moved south to the Florida on the banks of the Suwanee River having slave labor on his plantation. In 1867, they sold their land and decided to move to present day Parrish which was, at the time referred to as Oak Hill.
