Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Claxton, GA
Rusty is a beautiful chestnut gelding with rare tan markings (spot on
side and on legs) . He is a Quarter Horse / Saddlebred cross. He has
been ridden by my daughter on all 5 events and has won a wall full of
ribbons. He is spunky and needs an experienced rider. If you're ready
to turn and burn, this one's for you! He has speed and never turns a
barrel over. He ties, clips, loads & bathes. $1000 OBO. Does not rear,
kick, bite or buck. Daughter is no longer into barrel racing and he's too

About Claxton, GA
The town had its visionary, W.R. Hendricks. In May 1890 there were only a couple of dwellings scattered around the area that is Claxton. Hendricks, son of Glenn and Nancy Hendricks, had been given a large tract of land by his parents. The Hendricks's ambition was to secure a railroad station at the site, but they met considerable opposition from railroad company officials who maintained that existing stations in the area were sufficient to meet the needs.
