Paint Mare for Sale in Cave Junction, OR

Munga meaning "Nun" is a well trained and well mannered mare. Brought up and trained the charro way. She ropes, she spins, she cuts. She basically does it all. She will hold anything you are crazy enough to rope. Mild mannered and gentle, even children can ride Munga. Yet under the right hands, she is a fine tuned sports car. There really hasn't been anything this mare has refused to do from: going into huge blackberry patches to flush stock to crossing rapid rivers to standing still when faced with a bear on the trail. She always stays calm and level headed. Besides Munga's training, she has a sweetheart personality. She does all the usual: baths, hauls, loads, ties, no vices, up to date on all wormer and vaccinations.

About Cave Junction, OR

For thousands of years, the Takelma Indians inhabited the Illinois Valley. Their culture was destroyed when gold was discovered in the early 1850s, causing the subsequent Rogue River Wars. After an 1853 treaty, most of the Takelmas lived on the Table Rock Reservation. In 1856, after the wars ended, they were moved to the Grand Ronde Reservation and the Siletz Reservation. The first gold in Oregon history was found in the Illinois Valley, as well as the largest gold nugget (17 lb or 7.7 kg).
