Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Greensboro, NC
"Montana" is a 14 yr. old 16. 3 hand big QH gelding. He came
off a ranch in Montana and has a brand on his hip. When he came out to NC
about 8 yrs. ago, he was just used for flat work and trail ridden. I've
had him for about 1 1 / 2 yrs. and have decided to sell him to reduce my
herd some since he doesn't get ridden much anymore. Looking for a loving
home for him. I'd personally like to see him with a confident rider but
he is very gentle and friendly for anyone. He is also a great babysitter
for weanlings. He is very protective over them. Gets along very well
with other horses. Loads, shoes and ties well with no vices. For more

About Greensboro, NC
At the time of European encounter, the inhabitants of the area that became Greensboro were a Siouan-speaking people called the Saura. : 7 Other indigenous cultures had occupied this area for thousands of years, typically settling along the waterways, as did the early settlers. Quaker migrants from Pennsylvania, by way of Maryland, arrived at Capefair (now Greensboro) in about 1750. The new settlers began organized religious services affiliated with the Cane Creek Friends Meeting in Snow Camp in 1751. Three years later, 40 Quaker families were granted approval to establish New Garden Monthly Meeting.
