Well Built Paint Mare

Description~ Brandy is a 15.3 hand, 4 year old solid chestnut paint mare with a blaze, two socks, two stockings, and a partial blue eye. Loves all the attention she can get, in your pocket attitude. She needs an intermediate to advanced rider.   Conformation~ Great conformation, she has a ton of muscle. Is barefoot, never been shod, is used to leg wraps and boots. Is great with handling and ferrying her front feet. However, you must move slowly when handling her back, or she tries to pull them away from you. Will let you pick out and Farry back hooves; has never offered to kick anyone, she just tries to pull them away.   Pedigree~ Her dam, Mandeline Reign, and sire, Factor, were registered paint horses; however we do not have the breeder’s certificates. She can be registered through the American Indian Horse Registry, or otherwise is grade.   Training~ Brandy has over 100 hours of recorded training time and counting. Easy to work with on the ground; leads anywhere, bathes, walks over tarp, desensitized to plastic bag and umbrella, pony’s in arena, hobbles, backs, gives two eyes, longes, free longes, yields hindquarters, lateral flexion in-hand, etc… She rides good in the arena; picks up her gaits (in the arena and out in the open, is not barn sour/does not bolt for home), lateral flexes, neck reins, backs, mount/dismount, great stop, sidesteps, and slow spins. She has been on countless short trail rides and multiple long trail rides over extremely rough terrain, with and without other horses. Leads or follows, carries saddle bags, and goes through brush. Will go over a bridge, Cavalettis, log jump, hills and bank, and open and close a gate while mounted. She would be good for almost any discipline, which ever direction you want to take her.
