“Smooth Sailing” or “River” is a 16 year old 16.3H OTTB gelding. Bred in Florida from impressive bloodlines such as Secretariat and Northern Dancer, River is ready to go with a huge stride and working mindset. River was originally purchased to take his rider from a pony through 3’6” jumper/equitation horse, but quickly reached his limit with 3 ft at home or 2’6” at shows.
River has attended multiple local shows, receiving either Champion or Reserve in each amongst impressive crowds. River has the mindset, stride and strength to show well in the 2’6” jumpers, or crossover to the eq ring with the right rider.
Although strong when jumping, River is bombproof on trails as well as on the flat. With an in your pocket personality, River thrives off of love and attention. Stands still for the vet, farrier, clipping and loads easily.

About Dillsburg, PA
The town is named for Matthew Dill, an immigrant from County Monaghan, Ireland, who settled the town in 1740. The village became a center for local agriculture. During the Civil War's Gettysburg Campaign, Dillsburg was twice invaded by Confederate cavalry, first by Albert G. Jenkins's brigade, then by Maj. Gen.
