Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Trinidad, CO

AQHA foundation - bred, handsome chestnut gelding. Wintered well, sound, healthy, had fall shots & we'll take care of all spring shots; farrier due this week; ok w / grooming, farrier, loading. We've been riding mountain trails with Merlin, but haven't the time nor expertise for this very intelligent horse. Not for novices, Merlin requires a confident rider w / solid background in horses to work with him & bring that potential out. $900 firm to good home only, would consider trade for well - trained, older gaited horse we can put greenhorns on. Videos upon request.

About Trinidad, CO

Trinidad was first explored by Spanish and Mexican traders, who liked its proximity to the Santa Fe Trail. It was founded in 1862 soon after coal was discovered in the region. This led to an influx of immigrants eager to capitalize on this natural resource. By the late 1860s, the town had about 1,200 residents. Trinidad was officially incorporated in 1876, just a few months before Colorado became a state.
