Trakehner Stallion for Sale in Sterling, IL
Exceptional breeding, with a pedigree containing the best of Trakehner
bloodlines generation through generation. "Lucky's" sire,
Hilton, is by the renouned 3- Day Event stallion, Bukephalos, and
out of the Elite mare, Haiti by Amiego. His dam, Ada GS has already
produced one Approved Trakehner stallion (Arapaho GS) . Bto be a top -
notch 3- Day event prospect, there is much potential for hunters or
dressage. This colt is a powerhouse, with a solid build but nice,
rhythmic, uphill movement. He is powerful and bold, but amazingly
easy to train and well - behaved. He has been in training for in - hand
presentation since June 1, 2008, and has attended several shows already
and is doing very well. There are several photos and more information
available on my website, as well as a link to his sire's page. I have
several video clips and recent photos from shows as well.
About Sterling, IL
In 1834, Hezekiah Brink built the first cabin in what was to become Harrisburg. Two years later, William Kirkpatrick settled downstream in an area that became Chatham. In 1838, Harrisburg and Chatham merged to become the Town of Sterling in an effort to attract the county seat. The name "Sterling" was given to the new town in honor of Major James Sterling, who distinguished himself in the area during the Blackhawk War in 1832. On February 16, 1857, Sterling was incorporated as a city by state law.
