Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in North Platte, NE
WB Peppy Freckles # 4036***3 is 9 yrs old and broke to ride. He is out of
a son of Peppy San Badger and a daughter of Colonel Freckles. This sorrel
with two white socks and a blaze sires fancy sorrel colts with a lot of
class. We had two crops out of him and he worked well on all of our mares.
We lost our lease and have sold all of our brood mares. He can be hand
mated or pasture bred. Price is $5000 OBO, might consider a lease.

About North Platte, NE
North Platte was established in 1866 when the Union Pacific Railroad was extended to that point. It was named from the North Platte River. On July 13, 1929, black North Platte resident Louis "Slim" Seeman shot and killed Edward Green, a North Platte police officer. Following the incident, a mob of white residents of North Platte walked through the city, telling black residents to leave North Platte. Fearing mob violence, most of North Platte's black residents fled.
