Fort Mohave Arizona Sky has a horrible back story. Before I bought her, she was abused severely. She has a scar on her back right leg. But I have had her for three years now and she is much much better. My trainer and I started from ground one with this horse, since the seller lied to me about everything with this horse. So here I am telling everything you really need to know. She knows how to stand for the farrier, she is broke, but she has her bolts. She is spooky in new areas and will need a very, very confident rider to train her and get her somewhere. She does have much potential, I just don’t have the time. She needs someone who will work with her everyday. She has trust issues with men. She will also need a female owner. She is very skittish with new males approaching her, and trying to pet her. She has come a long way with me, and she can go a long way again with a new rider who knows what they are doing, and are willing to do it with her. Sky is being trained and ridden under english, but used to be ridden western. Although she loves english a lot more. I started jumping her but she needs to be refreshed in that if you want to jump her She will run away from you and turn her butt to you in pens, but she won’t actually try to hurt you, she is just playing the stubborn game. But once she is in work, and consistently worked with, she will behave. She likes to do arena work with other horses, but will only want to follow the other horse. Sky is currently on Vita-plus for extra energy, and Biotin crumbles, for her hooves. But those are the only supplements she is eating. She does not need them though.
