Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Green Bay, WI

FRI Peppys Patience (Zoomie) was our ranch stallion for 9 yrs, has been gelded and under saddle for 4 years. We just went through 2 months of someone trying to scam us for him, so I will be VERY vigilant on checking out prospective buyers. Only reason for sale is down sizing after closing breeding operations. Zoom was our 1st born and he sat in pasture too many years as a stud. That being said, there is no wear on joints and tendons and he will never loose some lasting stallion behavior. A perfect gentleman in hand or under saddle, but I would not put him in a mixed herd situation. Lots of trail miles on him with camping trips. Rode safe, dog safe easy catch, and utd with farrier, teeth, vacs, worming. We will not sell him to any beginner. He was started on cows last year. Prefer no barrel prospect seekers, just don't want that for him. Not trying to offend anyone, but will approve only the perfect home for this exceptional horse. Never worn shoes, and use a snaffle. Opens gates, picks and drops you off at any mounting block. Goes out alone without hesitation, and does well in a group. Have photos from birth and lots of recent videos that I will share upon request from serious buyers. If you fit the requirements please email or call.

About Green Bay, WI

Samuel de Champlain, the founder of New France, commissioned Jean Nicolet to form a peaceful alliance with Native Americans in the western areas, whose unrest interfered with French fur trade, and to search for a shorter trade route to China through Canada. Nicolet and others had learned from other First Nations of the Ho-Chunk (Winnebago) people, who identified as "People of the Sea", and believed they must reside on or near the Pacific Ocean. Champlain had also heard about natural resources in the area, including fertile soil, forests, and animals. Nicolet began his journey for this new land shortly before winter in 1634. In what later became a French fur-trading route, he sailed up the Ottawa River, through Lake Nipissing and down the French River to Lake Huron, then through the straits of Michilimackinac into Lake Michigan.
