The first foal by Comme Il Faut born in America! 'Bocephus' arrived on May 13, 2016 without complication. He is exceptional in every way and has quite the personality. I was beyond thrilled with this colt. He is very well put together, correct, and extremely attractive. I do not think he will disappoint as an upper level jumper prospect. His temperament is upbeat, he enjoys interaction, and is very in your pocket. As soon as he see's you or you call his name, he comes running! Already halter broke and learns quickly. I expect him to mature around 16.3 hands and he could be considered as a stallion prospect. His sire, Comme Il Faut, comes from two very legendary parents- Cornet Obolensky and Ratina Z. The remainder of his pedigree includes many other 1.60m/Olympic competitors: Clinton, Heartbreaker, Corrado, Ramiro, and Alme Z. Cornet Obolensky has produced countless approved sons, international jumpers, and himself competed in the Olympics. Ratina Z was considered the 'Mare of the Century' and won the Olympic Gold Medal in both 1992 and 1996. Comme Il Faut passed his 70 day test with the highest jumping index of of 140.25. He has been competing at the top of the sport with Marcus Ehning, has many approved sons/daughters, and is recognized by several registries. Tokio is a 50 bonit (Bezirksprämie) mare receiving high scores including a 9 on canter. She is from stamm 776, which is the #1 in the world for producing jumpers. While she was never in sport herself, she has many relatives that are currently competing in the jumper ring successfully. Her foals are all noted for their good minds, big movement, scope, and rideability. Video taken August 4, 2016: https://vimeo.com/177744987
