Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Monticello, KY

"Mystique" is a beautiful Buckskin, and a granddaughter of Playgun !! Foundation Bred. She rides awesome with no bridle, has a nice stop, smooth lope and trot, side passes, backs up easily, works the gate, roped a few cattle out in the pasture, works the stockyards, and you can shoot a pistol from off her back !!!! A handy mare that could make it to the top of anything you want to put her to, she has all the athletic ability, and great mind. She would be an ideal first horse, or starter show horse. She also rides outside super quiet, willing to go out alone and around other horses. Stands tied quietly, easy to lead, load, haul, will stand ground tied well, hobble broke, and stand tied quietly around other horses. She clips, bathes, is easy to groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, stands still for mount and dismount and is quiet for the vet and farrier. She has also been trail ridden and is super relaxing to ride around the ranch and out on the trails. She is super broke and quiet, no-nonsense. Watch her videos - everybody loves this girl! About Monticello, KY

Monticello became the county seat when the Wayne County was formed in 1800. The first Wayne County clerk, Micah Taul, named the town after the home of Thomas Jefferson. Joshua Jones, a surveyor and Revolutionary War veteran, laid out the town on thirteen acres owned by William Beard. By 1810, the population was twenty-seven people. An oil boom in Wayne County created an economic boost in the late 1800s.
