Moose is a 7 year old grade blue roan gelding. He has a very sweet disposition. I have ridden him bareback and under saddle. He'd be a great beginner/kid horse. You can roll all over/under him. He picks up his feet, stands for farrier, loads fantastically, and stands tied. He stands to be saddled and mounted. You can drop the lead rope on the ground, and he doesn't move. He has been wormed recently. Absolutely nothing is wrong with this horse; I would keep him if I had kids. Honest and sweet horse at a great price! He is very gentle and honest horse. About Batesville, AR
Batesville is the second oldest municipality after the town of Georgetown — and the oldest city — in the state of Arkansas. It was named for the first territorial delegate from Arkansas to the Congress of the United States, James Woodson Bates, who settled in the town. The town has also gone by the names of Napoleon and Poke Bayou. In early days, Batesville was an important port on the White River and served as an entry point to the interior of northern Arkansas.
