This 04 / 2009 In - Utero foal is guaranteed to be BLACK! He / She is
by the BLACK Straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa, Blue List stallion, Ibn
Layalia. His sire, Thee Desperado, is known Worldwide. His dam is a
daughter of the Internationally acclaimed Alidaar and out of an *Ibn
Monet El Nefous daughter. He consistently produces exotic faces, long
thin necks, high tails sets, solid bodies, overall good conformation.
To date, he has produced 75% fillies and 25% colts. Some of his foals have
sold to the Middle East. He / She is out of the homozygous BLACK mare,
JP - Black - Satin. She's extremely compact with a full, smooth hip and
a beautiful shape to her neck. Her face is short with a gorgeous wedge
shape, huge dark eyes, good ears. Her daughter was exported in 2008 to

About Ottumwa, IA
The young town was severely damaged during the Flood of 1851. In 1857, coal was being mined from the McCready bank, a site along Bear Creek four miles west of Ottumwa. In 1868, Brown and Godfrey opened a drift mine four miles northwest of town. By 1872, Brown and Godfrey employed 300 men and had an annual production of 77,000 tons. In 1880, the Phillips Coal and Mining Company opened a mine two miles northwest of town.
