Paint Mare for Sale in Littleton, CO

-- SOLD -- Bar Jet Dandy (Missy) is a curious and friendly 18 yr old Quarter Horse/Paint cross. She tends to be headstrong under saddle but is wonderfully cooperative when ridden consistently. Requires an intermediate to advanced rider to keep her focused. Doesn’t spook easily, though can be jittery on trails when not ridden consistently. Loves treats and being groomed, and behaves very well for the vet, farrier, etc. Is trained in western riding. She is being sold together with her gelding stable mate due to us not being able to ride them consistently, and we hope to find them a loving, active new home! We will however be quite selective of their new home, so potential buyers will need to provide an address for where the horses will be moved to, and will need to come have an on-site visit of the horse before official sale. Cost for Missy is $0, though we ask that the buyer pays for the sale brand inspection. For full information on Missy and her stable mate (including health history, show history, etc.) please see this document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QTo3JqtDMofagffcTnGlHEXJj4kS39CabAaZWVZT9E4/edit?usp=sharing Buyer assumes all costs and responsibilities of trailering horse to new location

About Littleton, CO

The city of Littleton's history dates back to the 1859 Pike's Peak Gold Rush, which brought not only gold seekers, but merchants and farmers to the community. Richard Sullivan Little was an engineer from New Hampshire who made his way out West to work on irrigation systems. Little soon decided to settle in the area at present day Littleton and brought his wife Angeline out from the East in 1862. The Littles, along with many neighbors, built the Rough and Ready Flour Mill in 1867, which provided a solid economic base in the community. By 1890, the community had grown to 245 people and the residents voted to incorporate the Town of Littleton.
