Tennessee Walking Gelding for Sale in Brentwood, TN

Jackson is a large 16 hand Walking Horse. He is a gentle giant who loves people. Jackson is gaited and was ridden for many years on the trails around my farm. Jackson is an excellent trail horse. He was previously owned by a family who took him on weekend trips to a national forest every week. They owned him for two years but they lost interest in horses so they asked me to take him back as they were selling all of their horses. Jackson is a great horse and will only be sold to an approved home. I have sold my farm this year and regretfully can no longer keep him. He is used to being stalled at night and spending the day outside grazing. Demeanor: Jackson is extremely sweet and has a very funny personality Does not bite, kick, or have any vices, trailers, bathes, and stands for the farrier well Previously ridden weekly but has not had anyone on him in two years Loves attention and responds to kindness, he is an affectionate licker He does best with a confident easy going rider Cell/Txt: 931-538-5707

About Brentwood, TN

Successive cultures of prehistoric Native Americans occupied this area for thousands of years. In the first millennium of the Common Era (CE), Mississippian culture people, known locally as the Mound Indians or Stone Box Indians, built complex earthwork mounds topped with ceremonial buildings. Their settlement was part of a culture that extended throughout the Mississippi Valley and its major tributaries, and traded with other groups across the continent. Artifacts and mounds of the Mississippian culture have been found during development in the Meadowlake subdivision, and at the library site on Concord Road. Primm Historic Park contains and preserves the largest of the earthwork mounds, which is still visible today.
