Bertha is an ex - racehorse who raced at Thistledown. She wasnt the right kind of horse for a racehorse lifestyle, so she was trained for kids to ride. She was used by a little girl with Downs Syndrome and ridden by riders of all kinds of experience. She would defintely make a wonderful child's horse or beginner / intermediate mount. Has No Vices and gets along well with any horses. Owner recently had open heart surgery and has decided to stop giving lessons. She is currently being used as a companion horse for 2 of our Yearlings. She is in shape and has been ridden at least once a week. Bertha is willing to do anything asked of her.
