Smokey is a 14.2 Rocky Mountain horse that is chocolate in color with a white face to set him off. He is a sweetheart kind of horse with a wonderful disposition. Smokey loves to be around people and wants to please in every way. He was raised about 30 miles from my house I got Smokey as a three-year-old. I am 63 years old and trained Smokey myself. Smokey is the horse that everyone is searching for he has a smooth gait, has a nice lope taking the correct leads in each direction. Smokey can even do flying lead changes! He is an all-purpose type of horse. Smokey has been trained properly and has been extensively desensitized. He is great with tarps, bullwhips, and dogs running around him. Smokey can ride with a saddle and bridle, bridleless, or bareback with a halter. He does all sorts of tricks too! Smokey lays down mounted or from the ground. You can pop whips on him or around him on the ground. Smokey is gun-safe as well. He does not mind shooting a shotgun while on his back or the ground. Smokey is very gentle with dogs leading them while riding him. He side passes over to the mounting block to pick you up. Smokey is the best hunting horse I have ever owned! He has been ridden hundreds of miles on trails and squirrel hunted on land between the lakes in Kentucky. Smokey has been shown in fun shows at fairgrounds. He is great with crossing ditches creeks, and going up and down steep hills. Smokey is always willing to cross water and go over bridges. Steps with ease over fallen trees, and is also traffic safe. You can tie anything to the saddle horn and he will drag it without a care in the world. Smokey will go anywhere you want him to. He has been ridden by all ages. Smokey is happy to ride in front, middle, or back. He is great for hauling and stands to mount quietly. Smokey stands perfect for the farrier, clipping, bathing, saddling, and bridling. Smokey is laid back, super friendly with a wonderful personality. All you have to do to catch him is call his name and he will come to you.
