Energetic gelding. Very smart and trainable. We just bought him a month ago but we are brand new horse owners and aren’t quite ready for this guy. Pros: sound, healthy, broke, trailers well, stands perfectly for farrier, stands while being saddled and very intelligent. Tex learns quickly according to the trainer we are working with. Cons: needs someone experienced as he can tell if you don’t know what you’re doing. Doesn’t like to take the bit. We have bridled him, but because we are completely new at this it’s been hard for us but doable. If you’ve got know how this horse could be perfect for you! Trainer said he would be great for pole bending or even barrel racing, or just a trail/ranch horse.
