June 20, 2002
The USA Equestrian Vaulting Committee met on June 20, 2002 to review the
scores of the vaulting teams and individual competitors applying to be a
part of the United States Vaulting Team for the 2002 World Equestrian Games
in Jerez, Spain. The Vaulting Committee selected three individual male
vaulters, with one alternate, three individual female vaulters, with one
alternate, and one team to represent the United States. These selections
are pending final approval at the July 9, 2002 meeting of the USA Equestrian
Board of Directors. The selected athletes are listed below:
Individual Male Vaulters
Vaulter #1: Devon Maitozo
Vaulter #2: Kenny Geisler
Vaulter #3: Erik Martonovich
Alternate: Blake A. Dahlgren
Individual Female Vaulters
Vaulter #1: Samantha Smith
