Wellington, FL - Brave St. Productions and Offield Farms are pleased to
announce that Fox Reality Channel will begin airing The Search for
America's Next Equestrian Star: Dressage on Friday, October 19 at 9:00
a.m. EST. This unique show consists of five hour-long episodes that
will air sequentially at the same time every Friday through November
16, the show's finale.
The show was conceived by six-time Olympian Robert Dover and Brave St.
Productions, a New York-based production company. In a nationwide
search, hundreds of people sent in audition tapes for the chance to be
selected as one of the final six contestants. In the series, the final
six undergo a series of challenges and competitions that result in
eliminations. The result is The Apprentice meets American Idol. The
grand prize winner has the opportunity to become Robert Dover's Second
Assistant and have the chance to train for an Olympics. Other prizes
include an RV supplied by Broward RV, tack from County Saddlery and
much more!
The entire series was shot at Dover's Romance Farm in Wellington,
Florida by Brave St. Productions, who has produced shows for numerous
networks.
"We are excited that Fox Reality Channel will air The Search for
America's Next Equestrian Star: Dressage this month," said Karin Reid
Offield, the Executive Producer of the show. "I believers viewers will
find the show very engaging, whether they are horse people or not. It
is a chance to live with the contestants as they go through the trials
Robert creates for them - only how they perform, but how they
react." Robert Dover explained, "Each of these riders is not only
gifted, but shares a passion for dressage that is reflected in their
efforts on this show. Each deserves credit for their performance;
believe me, it was very difficult to choose only one winner!"
Tammy Leech, Executive Producer and Partner for Brave St. Productions
added, "Because I love both horses and making television, I'm thrilled
to bring the two together for what turned out to be a very exhilarating
experience for all those involved. I'm quite sure the viewers of Fox
Reality Channel will share my enthusiasm for this first of a kind
production in equestrian sports." And Russell Best, Executive Producer
and Partner for Brave St. Productions called the show and the
experience "a really special opportunity." Best continued, "To work
with a special and credible duo such as Robert and Karin has been a
very rewarding endeavor. We think the show is terrific and, obviously,
so does FOX Reality Channel!"
The Fox Reality Channel is a premier destination for unscripted
programming. Among their current offerings are Corkscrewed and Rebel
Billionaire: Branson's Quest for the Best as well as sharing platforms
with their big sister network FOX on such shows as American Idol Remix
and
other primetime fare. Fox Reality Channel airs on local market cable
systems and DirecTV. The channel operates as a single feed meaning
that the show will air at 9:00 a.m. on the East Coast, 8:00 a.m.
Central and 6:00 a.m. West Coast. Viewers should check their local
channel guide to confirm channel and time. The Fox Reality Channel is
available nationwide on many cable and satellite providers, so contact
your provider to upgrade your package if necessary.
The show is a traditional mix of entertainment, reality, and
competition that has been hugely popular across the network programming
schedules and offers a "fly on the wall" view of the quest of the
Olympic dream. The six lucky finalists are:
