Pony Stallion for Sale in Spray, OR
Awesome looking pony. He is easy to catch even in a big pasture with
his buddies, loves to be groomed and played with. He is broke to lead,
load, tie, ride, pack, and pull carts. He is a great all around family
pony. He will pack your deer / elk off mountain. He is strong, healthy
and sound. Never foundered Great with the farrier (goes barefoot) . He's
patient while being led by youngsters all over the farm, even over small
obstacles. We~ve never seen him spook at ANYTHING!. He is an easy keeper
and always maintains his weight. He rides western, and bareback with just
a halter but also in a snaffle and hackamore. He does not like his bathes.
He is a pony that can be pulled out of the pasture and ridden. Kids can
pick up any of his feet, hang on him, push him, and drag him around
About Spray, OR
Spray was named for John Fremont Spray, the community's founder and first postmaster, and his wife, Mary E. Spray. The post office was established in 1900. In that same year, John Spray established a ferry to carry people across the John Day River, and he helped establish a school and a store in the community. After formation of Wheeler County in 1899, Spray was suggested as a possible county seat.
