Arabian Gelding for Sale in Lincoln, CA
EXPERIENCED RIDERS; Trail riding, Western Pleasure, Halter, Liberty. Leo is a very sweet gelding. My teenage daugher has owned and ridden him for the past five years. He was started as a Western Pleasure horse and was shown and my daughter did well with him. She wanted to also ride him on the trail and we placed him in trail training to give him exposure. He has been on the trail, ridden across bridges, gone through water, ridden in the snow and has gone on the beach. He clips, cross ties, bathes and trailers. He has been stalled and been turned out and does well with either. He gets along well with other horses when he has been in a field with others. He has been shod on a regular basis and currently has shoes on. He is utd on worming and shots. My daughter has selected to do another discipline and we have three horses and unfortunately are unable to have all. We are looking for a good home for him, someone who will love him and enjoy him. He would be best with a confident, experienced rider.
About Lincoln, CA
The original townsite was surveyed and laid out in 1859 by Theodore Judah along the proposed line of the California Central Railroad. The name "Lincoln" was conferred in honor of Charles Lincoln Wilson, one of the organizers and directors of the California Central Railroad. The CCRR was planned as a rail link between the cities of Marysville and Sacramento via a connection to the Sacramento Valley Railroad in Folsom. Grading from Folsom to Marysville commenced in 1858 and was completed to Grider's Ranch ( Roseville) by 1860. Track laying began that same year and the rails reached the site of Lincoln in early 1861.
