Thoroughbred Gelding for Sale in Corvallis, OR

Rocky is a very lovable horse with loads of personality! He’s an in-your-pocket type horse. He has great ground manners and stands in the cross ties very well, loads easily, hauls well, loves baths, clips great (Besides his muzzle). Rocky is a great eventer prospect and shows great potential in both dressage and has a beautiful jump! Needs a confident rider. Rocky has a great health record with no major injuries. Although this big boy does eat a lot he isn’t a picky eater and is fairly easy to keep the pounds on. He does have a clubbed foot on the right front, we are working with vet and farrier to get all feet in good position. Daughter is going to college and working, won’t have the time he deserves. He deserves someone who will bring him to his full potential. He will make someone an amazing horse!

About Corvallis, OR

In October 1845, Joseph C. Avery arrived in Oregon from the east. Avery took out a land claim at the mouth of Marys River, where it flows into the Willamette River, and in June 1846 took up residence there in a log cabin hastily constructed to hold what seemed a potentially lucrative claim. Avery's primitive 1846 dwelling was the first home within the boundaries of today's Corvallis and his land claim included the southern section of the contemporary city. Avery was quickly joined by other settlers along the banks of the Willamette River, including a 640-acre claim directly to his north taken in September 1846 by William F.
