Quarter Pony Mare for Sale in Chamois, MO
Blue is a 15 year old blue roan mare pony. Stands just shy of 13 hands. Has just been used as a broodmare for the last 10 years. Was used as a heel pony before she was used as a broodmare. Blue wasn’t road in 10 years tell last week. Brought her up and saddled her. She road right off like she been road every day. Walks trot and loped right off with no issues. She isn’t the best for a beginner. She does have a little go in her.

Chamois was platted in 1856, and named after the chamois, a European animal. A post office called Chamois has been in operation since 1856. Besides the post office, the community had a depot on the Missouri Pacific Railroad. The Chamois Public School and Alvah Washington Townley Farmstead Historic District are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
